One Cool Dude

My nephew Robbie has chosen to be baptized into our church in a little less than a month. I had the awesome privilege of taking photos for the invites his mom sent out to local friends. With this being the time of Covid-19, of course Robbie had to cut down his invites to just include family at the actual indoor event. His mom is instead inviting all their local friends to support Robbie with a drive-by celebration immediately following his baptism.

I thought that was such a perfect solution! I love seeing the creativity of people not letting Covid ruin their moments. Between high school grad parades through neighborhoods last spring, simplified backyard weddings and visitng family through windows;

people are resilient and they find a way to still have their moment with those they love. With how quickly life moves we can’t afford to miss these experiences. I am so excited to celebrate this cool dude’s day with friends and family and to be present, even at a distance, for years to come.
